ALL IN ALL lyric video | Calledout Music

This is an independent project I was working on as one of my final year projects in University. For this project, I decided to do a lyric video for a song titled “All in All” by CalledOut Music after I was given permission by the artiste to use any of his songs for this project. The song is a christian song as the artiste is a gospel artiste. The song is based on a verse of the bible, Romans 8:35–39, which says:

“35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:
c“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

All in All is a perfect love letter to God in song form. The video, directed by renowned cinematographer Uvi Orogun sees the 2020 Mobo winner express his love for God. The film tells a tale of assurance and encouragement in God. The singer sings about his dedication in following Christ and nothing can stop him from loving him, whether it’s troubles, persecution, hunger, nakedness and so on.

As a devout Christian, Samuel’s [CalledOut Music] diverse music strongly re- flects his belief in Jesus, addressing issues people face whilst sharing the good news of the Gospel. Although, he shares an admiration for many Gospel greats such as Fred Hammond & Richard Smallwood but CalledOut Music’s greatest musical influence is Kirk Franklin.
