About Us

This community was formed with the agenda to unite as African creative individuals from as many African nations as possible. This community was founded by Victoria Joel, a creative practitioner with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Animation from two universities in the UK. She's an African descent currently residing in England, United Kingdom.

 

With "Kehillah" being the hebrew word for "community" or "congregation", this creative community was birthed so that as African creatives, we can share creative ideas and work on creative projects with the mission of promoting African stories and preserving African cultures and values. This mission is to be achieved through Animation, Filmmaking, Games, Photography and many more. 

 

This community will include individuals who have some level of experience in any creative field, while there's also a chance to learn any skill in any field people are interested in. We hope to hold creative conferences/seminars to share tips on how to improve as a creative practitioner in the industry. We also hope to hold creative bootcamps/workshops as we believe this community will continue to grow. This community welcomes individuals with some years of experience [2+ years] to assist in leading some disciplines and some individuals with certain skills to manage some areas such as social media, websites, events, etc.
