Our Mission

What we hope to achieve in Kehillah Studios is to create a community where African creatives, who are also believers, come together and produce creative visuals to promote African storytelling, christian values and moral ethics. Africa is a continent full of talent, rich in diverse cultures and traditions and own uniques stories that deserve a global recognition. We believe it is important to keep pushing African storytelling out through animation/filmmaking for African children to reduce their reliance on foreign content for entertainment and to have characters they can connect to and so they’ll not forget their African heritage. It’s also important to have original stories that can inform and teach westerners about the African culture and we'll have negative narratives of Africa reduced. The best method we believe this can be done is through media, through entertainment, which is why we implore as many Africans who are interested in creative disciplines to join us that we may tell original African stories through animation and film so African storytelling can continue to reach a global stage.

We also desire to train people who are passionate to be in any creative role but may not have access to learning resources or enough funding to get educated. It's important to explore ways in which more African creatives can be professionally trained and how training can be easily accessible. Training and workshops will be co-ordinated by the founder of this community [specifically in Animation] as well as any other experienced professional appointed as head of other disciplines. We would allow any potential African creative to gain knowledge in the discipline they are interested in and gain some skills they can start off with and together, we can create awesome projects that would bring African storytelling alive. As this community grows, we also hope to provide these creative services to companies or individuals who desire to promote their brand and services through creative mediums.
